Gramodaya Sangh takes pride in its journey of promoting traditional pottery, rural artisan development, and skill training since 1956. Over the years, the organisation has received national recognition and welcomed distinguished dignitaries who have appreciated its contribution to village industries and craft development.

National Recognition & Awards
National Award – 2006
Shri V. C. Prakash Shrivastava, Secretary of Gramodaya Sangh, received the National Award for Excellence in Village Industries (2006) from the Khadi and Village Industries Commission.
The award was presented by Pranab Mukherjee, then Hon. Minister of Defence, in recognition of outstanding contribution to rural industry and pottery development.

Jamnalal Bajaj Award – 1991
Shri S. K. Mirmira was honoured with the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Award (1991) for introducing modern technology and machinery in rural pottery craft, contributing to innovation in traditional village industries.

Nitin Gadkari, Hon. Minister of MSME, visited Gramodaya Sangh in 2022 and interacted with artisans, recognizing the organisation’s contribution to pottery and rural livelihood development.
